Black And White Photography:

Black and white photography is a interesting format. With today's photo editing software, you can make black and white photo's from an actual color slide or from the film itself. However I still prefer to use the true black and white slide or print film.
It is possible to acheive very dramatic results out of common objects simply because our eye's don't see things in black and white. I really enjoy using black and white film in very low light conditions....this makes the black part stand out. You'll have to have a flashlight so that you can focus your lens and a good flash on the camera. The light from the flash will make whatever it hits close by shine and then it will simply fade out leaving the background black. This can make things seem kind of spooky and gothic.
